1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RefreshOrganize.com or hiring Refresh, LLC ("Refresh," "we," "our,"
"us") for professional organizing services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not
agree, you may not use the website or services.
2. Services Provided
Refresh, LLC provides residential and commercial organizing services, including decluttering,
space planning, reorganizing, and related consulting. Service availability may vary based on
location, scheduling, and project scope.
We service the Greater Hartford region and additional Connecticut and New England areas as
listed on our website.
All services are performed in accordance with Connecticut regulations and our Home
Improvement Contractor Registration #0670822.
3. Scheduling & Appointments
● Appointments are confirmed once a deposit or service agreement is signed (as
applicable).
● Clients must provide accurate access information to the service location.
● Refresh is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or unsafe conditions.
● We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergencies, inclement weather,
health concerns, or staffing issues.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
● Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
● Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the
scheduled service.
● Missed appointments without notice ("no-shows") are charged 100% of the service fee.
● Multi-day project cancellations may require additional fees to compensate for reserved
service blocks.
5. Payment Terms
● Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated in writing.
● Accepted forms of payment may include credit card, debit card, ACH, or other methods
listed on the invoice.
● Late payments may incur late fees.
● Returned or declined payments will result in additional administrative fees.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
● Provide a safe, accessible workspace.
● Be present (or have an approved representative present) during service unless otherwise
agreed.
● Disclose any hazards, safety risks, pests, or health conditions that may impact service.
● Make final decisions regarding the disposal, donation, or sale of any personal items.
Refresh, LLC will not make disposal decisions without client approval.
7. Property & Liability
● While every precaution is taken, minor damage may occasionally occur during moving or
reorganizing.
● Refresh, LLC is not responsible for damage caused by:
○ Unstable furniture
○ Pre-existing structural issues
○ Fragile items not disclosed before service
○ Items deteriorated by age or improper manufacturing
● Refresh is not liable for items lost, discarded, or donated based on client instructions.
● Clients are responsible for verifying that discarded items are not needed before removal.
8. Confidentiality & Privacy
Refresh, LLC respects client privacy.
We do not share personal information or project details without consent, except when required by
law.
Photos may be used for marketing only with written client permission.

9. Health & Safety
Refresh maintains professional safety standards and may decline or postpone service if
conditions include:
● Mold
● Infestations
● Structural hazards
● Biohazards
● Unsafe or unsanitary environments
Additional cleaning or remediation services may be required before organizing can begin.
10. Home Improvement Contractor Compliance
Refresh, LLC complies with Connecticut state laws governing home improvement contractors.
Our HIC Registration Number is 0670822.
Certain projects may require written contracts based on Connecticut regulations.
11. Digital Content & Website Use
RefreshOrganize.com content—including text, images, branding, and materials—is owned by
Refresh, LLC and may not be copied or distributed without written permission.
Users may not:
● Use the website for unlawful purposes
● Attempt to access restricted information
● Upload harmful or malicious content
12. Refund Policy
Because organizing services involve time, planning, and labor, all completed services are
non-refundable.
Package or prepaid services may be refunded only for work not yet performed and at the sole
discretion of Refresh, LLC.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Refresh, LLC is not liable for:
● Emotional distress related to decluttering
● Loss of income, profits, or business
● Damage caused by items stored unsafely
● Issues arising from client decisions or refusal to remove hazards
● Delays caused by third-party vendors
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
14. Termination of Services
Refresh may refuse, pause, or terminate service if:
● The environment is unsafe
● The client behaves abusively or disrespectfully
● The client fails to pay
● Service conditions violate Connecticut law or ethical standards
Unused prepaid hours (if any) may be refunded at Refresh’s discretion.
15. Updates to Terms
Refresh, LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Updates will be posted on RefreshOrganize.com with a revised effective date.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
Any disputes shall be resolved in Connecticut courts.
